At J A Brooks, we recognize that sustainability is no longer just a trend—it’s a responsibility. While off-site manufacturing inherently brings environmental advantages, such as minimizing waste, lowering transport emissions, and boosting energy efficiency, we knew there was more we could do to make a lasting impact.
That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a significant milestone: our Design for Manufacture and Installation (DfMI) facility, The POD, has been predominantly powered by solar energy for a full year. This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and integrating sustainable practices into every aspect of our operations.
In just one year, our solar panels have generated an impressive 161 MWh of clean energy. By leveraging the sun’s power, we’ve successfully prevented 31,242 kg of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere, further solidifying our role as a leader in environmentally conscious construction.
